H0 scale M62-901 GySEV diesel locomotive model – analog version, DCC-ready

This model represents the M62-901 diesel locomotive operated by GySEV (Raaberbahn), finished in Era IV livery. It is a highly detailed reproduction of a heavy freight locomotive widely used across Central and Eastern Europe. The model is designed for analog operation and features a PluX22 interface for easy digital conversion.

About the M62 locomotive:

The M62 series consists of heavy diesel locomotives built in the Soviet Union and widely exported to Eastern European countries. In 1972, GySEV acquired six standard-gauge units designated as subclass M62.9. Based in Sopron, they were mainly used for freight operations. Known for their strong tractive effort and robust construction, they proved reliable under demanding conditions and remained in service until their withdrawal in 1996.
