This 1:72 scale plastic model kit by Special Hobby depicts the Vickers Wellington Mk.IC – a British medium bomber used extensively by RAF Bomber Command during the early years of World War II, especially for night raids over Germany and occupied Europe.

About the Vickers Wellington:
The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine medium bomber built using a geodetic fuselage design. The Mk.IC version served as a backbone of RAF night bombing raids from 1940 to 1942. Capable of carrying over 2000 kg of bombs, the Wellington was known for its ruggedness and ability to absorb heavy damage. Though later replaced by four-engine bombers, the Wellington earned its place as Bomber Command’s early workhorse.
