1:350 scale plastic model kit of the Soviet destroyer Gremyashchiy (Project 7) – 1942

This Takom kit represents the Soviet destroyer Gremyashchiy, one of the most famous warships of the Northern Fleet during World War II. Built as part of the Project 7 (Gnevny-class) series, the ship served in Arctic waters escorting Allied convoys and engaging German submarines and surface vessels. The model features exceptional detail with a finely molded hull, full weapon suite, and photo-etched components for ultimate realism.

Gremyashchiy was a Soviet destroyer of the Project 7 (Gnevny-class), launched in 1938 and assigned to the Northern Fleet. During World War II, it played a crucial role in protecting Arctic convoys between the USSR and Allied ports, engaging enemy submarines and aircraft under harsh weather conditions. The ship earned distinction for its crew’s courage and combat effectiveness, becoming one of the best-known Soviet destroyers of the war. After the conflict, it remained in service until being decommissioned in the postwar years.
