Building the model:

It is worth assembling and painting the motorcycle separately from the figures because of its small parts. Build the figures from subassemblies and hide the parting lines with putty. Emphasise the detail with a wash and dry-brushing; it is worth planning the arrangement of the figures and sign post to compose a coherent scene.

Tools you'll need:

• Modelling nippers for removing parts from the sprues
• Hobby knife or scalpel
• Files and sandpaper for cleaning up sprue-gate marks
• Modelling putty to hide the parting lines between parts
• Plastic cement (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement)
• Fine brushes and modelling paints (acrylic or enamel) for faces, uniforms and gear
• Panel-line wash to emphasise folds and detail, plus dry-brushing
