Plastic R/C model kit of the German Panther Type G Late Version tank

The Tamiya 48219 kit in 1:35 scale recreates the German Panther Ausf. G late production version as a fully functional radio-controlled model. Combining historical accuracy with realistic movement, the model allows forward and reverse driving, turning, pivoting, turret rotation, and gun elevation and depression.

Assembly and building process:

The model requires assembly of plastic parts and installation of the R/C components according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The use of assembly-type tracks and pre-built gearboxes ensures smooth and highly realistic motion, closely resembling the behavior of the real vehicle.

About the Panther Ausf. G:

The Panther entered service in 1943 and became one of the most important German tanks of World War II. The Ausf. G variant, introduced in 1944, featured numerous improvements aimed at increasing survivability and crew comfort. These included a redesigned gun mantlet to prevent shot traps, modified exhausts to reduce visibility at night, and additional air intakes to provide warm air to the crew in cold conditions.
