About the Fairey Swordfish:

The Fairey Swordfish was a British carrier-based torpedo bomber that, despite its outdated biplane design, played a significant role in naval operations during World War II. It participated in the attack on Taranto and in operations against the German battleship Bismarck. Thanks to its reliability and ability to operate from short carrier decks, the Swordfish remained in service for much of the war.
