Trumpeter 03469 includes 12 Blackburn Skua aircraft in 1:700 scale. The Skua was a British carrier-based dive bomber and fighter used by the Fleet Air Arm at the beginning of World War II. These miniatures are ideal for detailing Royal Navy aircraft carriers from the 1939–1941 period.

About the Blackburn Skua:

The Blackburn Skua was one of the first British carrier-based monoplanes used as a dive bomber and fighter. Operated by the Fleet Air Arm in the early stages of World War II, it saw action over the North Sea and during the Norwegian campaign. Although quickly replaced by more advanced aircraft, it played an important role in the early naval air operations of the war.
