Zebrano Z100-337 is a model of the Italian Fiat-SPA AS37 light desert truck in 1:100 scale. This kit from the wargaming series reproduces a four-wheel-drive vehicle adapted for operations in North Africa.

The model is produced as a resin casting, typical of the Zebrano 1:100 series intended for wargaming and small dioramas. The kit does not include decals — the painting is left to the modeller.

Building the model:

The small resin model consists of a limited number of parts. The parts are cut from the casting blocks, cleaned and washed before painting, and glued with cyanoacrylate.

Italian desert vehicles were usually painted in sand colours. Details are best emphasised with a wash, and the whole sealed with a matt varnish.

The Fiat-SPA AS37 (Autocarro Sahariano) is an Italian light four-wheel-drive truck developed on the chassis of the TL37 artillery tractor for operations in the North African desert. The vehicle had good mobility in difficult terrain.

The AS37 was used for transport, towing and as a platform for various equipment and weapon fits in units operating on the African front.
