The 502 Abteilung series paints are long-drying oil art paints.

The paints are great for most weathering techniques. They can be used to create washes, filters, to create chiaroscuro, upholstery and to blur transitions between colors. They are perfect for the so-called ladybug technique, i.e. changing the base color by applying and mixing several contrasting colors. Thanks to the oil base, the effects obtained can be easily improved using dedicated thinners or white spirit. The paints do not dry out in tubes and can be easily used for many years. They are not suitable for base color on plastic models.
