Academy 15820 depicts Promaxis - a Panzer Frame with a distinctive centaur-like silhouette from the animated series "Panzer World Galient". The model is built from parts moulded in multiple colours that snap together, so the colourful machine reaches the display shelf without cement or paint.

The kit features articulated joints that allow the finished model to be freely posed - with a shape combining a knight's torso and a four-legged chassis, that opens up plenty of display options. The tooling was created by Academy in cooperation with the Japanese company Wave.

Building the model:

Snap-fit engineering and factory-coloured parts make this a good choice for a first build. Parts are removed from the sprues with side cutters, cleaned up along the gate marks and then joined without cement. It pays to work calmly with multi-coloured mouldings, as gate marks stay visible on an unpainted model.

The joints let you set the machine in a pose of your choice, whether static or dynamic. Anyone wanting to raise the display quality can paint the model with modelling paints following the guide in the instructions and apply a wash into the armour recesses, which suits the complex shape of Promaxis well.
