White Spirit type thinner for paints and other oil- and phthalate-based products. It can also be used to clean tools after painting with oil paints. It works great as a liquid for washing off oil washes and artistic oil paints in the process of weathering models, that is, making traces of exploitation and dirt. It is also suitable for spreading and washing off dry pigments. The product is characterized by a virtually undetectable odor. It is an essential product for any modeler wishing to make a realistic model with traces of exploitation.

Thinner is an indispensable agent when painting with any modeling paint, whether by brush or airbrush.

The right thinner reduces the viscosity and density of the paint, allowing it to pass through the airbrush nozzle on the one hand, or to spread evenly on the surface when painting with a brush. You should always choose the right thinner for the paint you are painting - usually the safest option is to buy the one recommended by the paint manufacturer. This way you will certainly not deteriorate the properties of the paint. There are three main types of model paints - oil paints, which can also be thinned with white spirit, turpentine or extraction gasoline, water-based acrylic paints, which can be thinned with water or alcohol, and paints based on organic solvents, which require the right chemistry for dilution. When painting with a brush, it is usually enough to add a small amount of thinner, just to thin it a little. When painting with an airbrush, paints should be diluted much more heavily - in a ratio of at least 3:1 (in favor of the thinner). It is important that in the tank the paint has a consistency similar to milk.

Ammo of Mig Jimenez, is the current company of Mig Jimenez - creator of many of today's obvious modeling techniques, most notably the first off-the-shelf washes, filters and pigments without which we can't imagine finishing a model today.

Ammo currently has a wide range of weathering specs, tools and accessories, as well as acrylic paints. They also publish acclaimed modeling magazines and guide books.
