Ammo Mig 3027 is a high-quality modeling pigment in a realistic dark brown shade resembling damp agricultural soil. It's perfect for adding muddy ground effects to rural dioramas, tractors, military vehicles, or farm equipment operating on dirt tracks and plowed fields.

• Made from natural materials and super-finely ground for excellent texture and adhesion
• Can be used dry or mixed with Enamel Odourless Thinner (A.MIG-2018)
• Use Pigment Fixer (A.MIG-3000) for long-lasting results
• Can also be airbrushed when properly diluted
• For application, the manufacturer recommends their dedicated pigment brush range

Modeling pigments – an easy and effective way to enhance realism

Modeling pigments are dry powders typically packaged in 35 ml containers. They come in various earthy and dusty shades to replicate dirt, mud, rust, and other natural effects on vehicles, figures, and dioramas. Some pigments mimic metallic surfaces or soot. They can be rubbed into the model surface for subtle effects or sprinkled heavily for textured buildup.

Pigments can be mixed with water or Enamel Odourless Thinner to create washes and streaking effects, or blended with acrylic texture pastes to simulate thick mud or clumps of earth in your chosen tone.

Until fixed with a pigment fixer, excess pigment can easily be removed using a cotton swab dampened with water or white spirit, allowing you to correct or adjust effects at any time.
