Eduard JX344 is a painting mask set designed for the Italian fighter aircraft Macchi MC.200 Saetta in 1/32 scale. The set is intended for the Italeri kit and allows the modeller to reproduce the national insignia on the wings by painting them directly onto the model surface.
Using painting masks provides a more realistic result compared to decals. The markings are applied with paint, eliminating the visible carrier film typical of decals and allowing the modeller to match colours and weathering effects with the rest of the aircraft finish.
