Window masks – clean glazing without taping off

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model cab windows and glazing, letting you cover them while painting the body. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp window-frame edges and keeping the glazing clean.

The masks are applied over the glazing before spraying and removed once the paint has dried, helping achieve a neat finish without the labour of cutting tape.

About the vehicle – Büssing-NAG L4500 (heavy off-road truck):

The Büssing-NAG L4500 was a German heavy truck of the 4.5-tonne class, produced from 1941 and widely used by the Wehrmacht during World War II. It was powered by a Büssing-NAG six-cylinder diesel engine. It was built in the L4500S version with 4x2 drive and the off-road L4500A version with 4x4 drive, adapted to the difficult terrain of the Eastern Front. The vehicle mainly carried supplies, ammunition and troops.

The L4500 chassis also served as a base for armed variants. Its platform mounted the quad 20 mm Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft gun in an armoured-cab Sd.Kfz. configuration, forming a mobile air-defence station. The simple, rugged design ensured reliability under field conditions. Trucks of this type remained in service until the end of the war, and some later passed into civilian use.
