Evolution 2024 is a new incarnation of one of the most successful H&S airbrushes.

Designed with experienced users in mind that look for a high quality, reliable and robust tool, that is comfortable to use, easy to maintain and can be expanded using various accessories.

Evolution 2024 is a gravity fed double action airbrush with a 0,28 mm nozzle, threaded 2ml paint cup and a paint regulation screw. Slightly larger than typical, 0,28mm threadless nozzle works better with waterbased acrylics while painting smaller areas and details reducing clogging and paint drying on the needle tip. Push-in design makes it fast and safe to disassembly, clean and swap the nozzle without risk of damaging any parts. Nozzle is simply put into the air cap and then finger tight screwed to the body of the airbrush. No tools neccessary.

Airbrush is fitted with PTFE nozzle and needle seals, which are resistant to all modelling thinners and cleaners. Setscrew located on the end of the airbrush's handle allows smooth setting of needle chuck travel discance - limiting or enabling more paint flow. Air cap head is a two piece construction and feature open needle guard, which protects the needle tip and enable easy cleanup of any dried paint that might have gathered there. No need to disassembly the aircap. Airbrush trigger was enlarged for better fingertip support and precisely machined to provide best transfer of the finger's force to the needle guide mechanizm. Precisely designed and machined needle guide mechanizm now offers the least possible tolerances, which directly translates to higher operating and painting precision. 2ml paint cup and features a thread that attaches to the airbrush's body. Wide opening makes it easy to clean the cup after use.

Evolution 2024 airbrush is fully chrome plated which virtually eliminates any risk of allergic skin reactions while handling it and also makes the airbrush resistant to any type of thinner used in model making.

Airbrush is compatible with other Harder & Steenbeck nozzle & needle conversion sets and also with selected accessories.

CRplus series airbrushes feature high quality triple plating of copper, nickel and chrome that is resistant to all solvents. Chrome finish minimizes risk of allergic reaction to nickel. Airbrush has solvent resistant PTFE nozzle, needle, paint cup and air valve seals. Neadle sealing system is made from 3 PTFE seals.

2 ml paint cup is screwed into the airbrush body. By pressing down the trigger we open the air flow and by pulling it back we start and control the amount of paint flow. The further we pull the more paint will flow and wider the covered area will be.

What is an airbrush used for?

Airbrush is a miniature pistol for precise painting. It sprays the paint using a stream of compressed air. As such an airbrush will not work on its own - it needs a source of compressed air. Usually it's done by an air compressor that either gives the air straight to the airbrush or to the air tank connected to it. Airbrush can also be connected to a compressed air can but it's a less comfortable solution that doesn't give proper results and in the longer run is much more expensive hence not recommended. Airbrush is a fantastic tool for painting model kits, graphic, artistic and other hobby works and even decorating confectionery!

Harder and Steenbeck (from the founders' names August Harder and Wilhelm Steenbeck) is a renowned German manufacturer of airbrushes and airbrush accessories.

They have existed for almost 100 years now and started as a manufacturer of small electronic components for radio receivers then produced some school aid equipment and small mechanical elements for cars. In the 1950's they began manufacturing their first airbrushes mainly for professional industrial use. In the middle of 1990's they entered the consumer market with Grafo and Colani airbrush models. They really gained their reputation and wide acclaim at the end of that decade with the introduction of the Evolution model followed a few years later by Ultra and Infinity models.
