Description

Plastic model kit of the Supermarine Spitfire PR Type C “Heston Special” reconnaissance aircraft in 1:72 scale

The Supermarine Spitfire PR Type C, known as the “Heston Special”, was one of the earliest photo-reconnaissance variants of the iconic RAF fighter. Converted from early Spitfire airframes, these aircraft were stripped of armament and adapted for long-range photographic missions. During 1940–1941 they played a crucial role in gathering intelligence over occupied Europe. This 1:72 scale kit from IBG allows modelers to accurately recreate this distinctive variant.

In the box you will find:

  • plastic parts for self-assembly,
  • fuselage and wings specific to the PR Type C version,
  • external details typical of early reconnaissance Spitfires,
  • decals for aircraft markings from the 1940–1941 period.
