MiniArt 48068 is a self-assembly model of the Republic P-47N-2RE Thunderbolt in 1:48 scale – the long-range "Jug" with an enlarged wing and increased fuel capacity, intended for long missions over the Pacific.

Note: the set does not include glue, paints or modelling tools. The model is intended for self-assembly.

Assembly:

The full radial engine is worth painting and shading before enclosing it in the cowling. The photo-etched parts are attached with cyanoacrylate glue, and the canopy can be shown open or closed. The cockpit interior is painted before closing the fuselage.

We recommend applying the decals over a gloss coat, which limits the risk of decal silvering, and after drying sealing them with a matt or satin coat.
