The MiniArt 53014 kit depicts the Sd.Kfz. 234/4, the final and most heavily armed variant of Germany’s 8-wheeled armored car series. Equipped with a 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, the Sd.Kfz. 234/4 combined mobility, firepower and reliability, serving on both Eastern and Western Fronts during the last months of World War II.

The Sd.Kfz. 234 series represented the pinnacle of German armored reconnaissance vehicle design. The 234/4 variant was fitted with a 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun mounted in an open-topped compartment, giving it formidable firepower for its size. Despite limited production of around 89 units, it proved effective in both reconnaissance and defensive roles during the final battles of 1944–1945. With a Tatra 103 engine producing 210 hp, the 234/4 reached speeds of up to 90 km/h and had a remarkable operational range of 900 km.
