The M44 diesel locomotive of the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV) from Era III is one of the most recognizable shunting locomotives in Central and Eastern Europe. This PIKO H0 scale model faithfully reproduces the distinctive design with the cab positioned at one end and numerous detailed features.

About the M44:

The M44 locomotives were among the most important shunting locomotives of the Hungarian State Railways from the late 1950s onwards.
