The Revell 03752 kit represents the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 Erla in 1:32 scale. This aircraft was one of the final production variants of the famous Bf 109, the primary fighter aircraft used by the German Luftwaffe during World War II.

The G-10 version was introduced in the final phase of the war as an improved variant of the Gustav series. It featured the powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605D engine, improved aerodynamics and several structural refinements. Aircraft produced at the Erla factory had distinctive engine cowling shapes and cockpit canopy details.

About the Messerschmitt Bf 109

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was one of the most important fighter aircraft of World War II and served as the backbone of the German Luftwaffe fighter force. Designed in the mid-1930s by Willy Messerschmitt’s team, the aircraft was continuously improved throughout the war.

The Bf 109G-10 variant appeared in 1944 and represented one of the final high-performance versions of the aircraft. Powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605D engine, it achieved very high performance and remained capable of competing with modern Allied fighters. Production took place at several factories, including the Erla Maschinenwerk facility in Leipzig.
