Robo 200011 H0 - Set of 2 wagons: passenger 609A and semi-bar 113A PKP st Gdynia with lighting

A set of models of baggage-passenger wagons type 609A and half bar type 113A in the paintings of PKP - Polskie Koleje Państwowe.

Made of plastic and metal elements, the models of wagons for electric railroads in H0 scale, i.e. 1/87. They are miniatures of passenger baggage-passenger wagons type 609A and half bar type 113A.. The painting depicts railcars used by PKP - Polskie Koleje Państwowe during epoch IV, which fell between 1970 and 1990.

The set of wagons fits the IVc era Gdynia depot: 244500(1), 244510(1), 222030(1), 222040(1), 211010(1), 2110110.

Model of bar car 113A equipped with a fully reproduced glass bar, distinctive aluminum slats on the bar, bar car markings on the transition door, between cars and distinctive WARS lettering over the bar and rear wall of the bar compartment. The shapes of the tables for the era are reproduced, the storage compartment including cabinets and shelves, three 2nd class compartments. The model has power pickups installed in the carriages and power wires brought out to the inside of the model, it has 2 alternators in the carriages. There is a factory-installed interior lighting with the possibility of installing a digital decoder MTC 21pin, which allows lighting to be switched on and off from the position of the train control manipulator. The wagon is equipped with so-called short couplers with no gap between them.

The model of the bicycle-passenger wagon type 609A is equipped with specially designed hooks for bicycles, bicycles as separate elements, elements of tin bars for self-assembly. A canteen for the train attendant and manager,four 2nd class compartments, luggage racks in the luggage compartment were reproduced. Clearance between compartments as in reality. Type 113A restoration wagons were built in 1974-76

A total of 230 were built. Type 113A bar cars were built as so-called "half bars" because they had 3 2nd class compartments and one compartment for service. At the beginning of the 1990s, these cars were converted to so-called full bars: the 2nd class compartments were eliminated, leaving a compartment for the attendant and one compartment as storage, while increasing the bar space by 2 compartments. It is worth mentioning that restaurant cars were also built, which differed from bar cars in that meals were brought to tables, rather than ordered at the bar as with traditional bar cars. The restaurant wagons did not have the tall distinctive tables and hockers, just ordinary tables and chairs. Type 113A cars were adapted for travel outside our country and could often be found on international trains passing through our country or leaving Poland.

In 1981-82, the production of type 609A baggage and passenger cars began.

These cars consisted of 4 2nd class compartments, which allowed to increase the number of seats in the train, and a side corridor, which allowed passengers to pass freely through the carriage and a lockable luggage compartment. This allowed the wagon to be placed anywhere in the lineup. A total of 100 Type 609A railcars were built. Due to the installed steam heating and single-voltage 3kV electric heating, these railcars were intended for domestic traffic only.

Robo is a Polish manufacturer of H0 (1:87) scale railroad cars.

Their range consists of tank cars and passenger cars operated by PKP. Their characteristic feature is the utmost care and accuracy of reproduction of even the smallest details in these models. Passenger cars, moreover, come in versions with lighting installed. ROBO models are among the leading railroad models, but it must be remembered that they are produced in limited quantities.
