About the 101A coaches:

The 101A series was one of the most recognizable post-war PKP passenger coach designs, built by PaFaWag in Wrocław during the 1950s and 1960s. These cars featured all-steel construction, ribbed sides, and ten 2nd class compartments. Known as “Ryflaki” (from the ribbed bodywork), they served on local and regional routes throughout Poland until the mid-1990s. Many were later modernized to extend their service life.
