A finely detailed model of the Polish State Railways (PKP) 102Aa passenger coach from the well-known “Ryflak” series. This 1st class version, assigned to the Warsaw Szczęśliwice depot after its 1975 overhaul, comes equipped with factory-installed interior lighting, enhancing realism during night operation on model railway layouts.

This illuminated model perfectly recreates the look of the original coach, featuring realistic ribbed sides and accurate PKP markings. It fits seamlessly in passenger train compositions from the 1970s and 1980s, especially with 104A or 120A second-class cars and locomotives such as SP45, SU45, EU07 or EP08.

About the 102Aa coach:

The 102Aa type was developed as an improved version of the earlier 101Aa design, with a revised interior and modernized systems. Built by PaFaWag in Wrocław from the early 1970s, these all-steel, welded 1st class coaches featured nine compartments, steam and electric heating, and a ribbed exterior for structural strength. They served on long-distance and interregional routes throughout Poland, painted in the characteristic PKP olive-green livery.
