Designed by Burt Rutan and flown in December 1986 by Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager, the Voyager was a revolutionary twin-boom design optimized for maximum fuel efficiency and endurance. This model kit allows enthusiasts to recreate one of the most legendary aircraft achievements in aviation history.

The Rutan Voyager was a pioneering aircraft specifically built to fly around the globe nonstop without refueling. It was made primarily from lightweight composite materials and powered by a front tractor and rear pusher engine combination. The flight took place from December 14 to 23, 1986, covering a distance of 40,212 km in 216 hours. The aircraft launched and landed at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
