Vallejo is a well known company that manufactures water soluble acrylic paints for modelling in a very broad range of colours, washes, pigments and other solutions for model making.

Vallejo was founded in 1965 starting off as a manufacturer of then innovative acrylic paints for colouring cartoons, with time introducing acrylic paints for artists and finally for modellers. In their wide range of colours both primary shades can be found as well as specific military colours based on popular BS, RLM, RAL or FS colour charts. Supplementary palette in the form of Panzer Aces colours was also introduced. It has a range of WWII tank crew uniforms as well as some AFV equipment colours. Model Color series is mainly formulated for brush painting though with proper thinning it can be used in an airbrush. AIR line are pre thinned paints for use with an airbrush. Also available are high quality metallic colours from Metal Color line, pigments, washes and texture pastes for use with diorama projects. For many years the Vallejo brand has been synonymous with high quality products in the modelling world.
