About the KV-1 tank:

The KV-1 (Kliment Voroshilov) was a Soviet heavy tank introduced in 1939. The December 1940 variant had improved armor up to 75 mm on the front, a new turret, and a diesel engine delivering 600 hp. At the start of Operation Barbarossa, the KV-1 was nearly invulnerable to German 37 mm anti-tank guns and could destroy lighter enemy tanks with ease. However, it suffered from poor mobility and frequent mechanical issues.
