Eduard XT155 is a set of self-adhesive 1:35 masks to make painting the model easier, tailored to the M4/M4A Half Track model from Dragon. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The kit is not included.

Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

About the vehicle – M4 (81 mm Mortar Motor Carriage M4, half-track):

The M4 was an American half-track mortar carrier, developed in 1942 on the M2 half-track chassis. Its main weapon was an 81 mm M1 mortar set to fire to the rear, allowing fire directly from the vehicle; a 7.62 mm machine gun served for defence. It used the mixed drive of a front road axle and a rear track assembly typical of American half-tracks.

The vehicle gave mechanised units mobile mortar support able to keep pace with the advance. It was produced in the M4 and reinforced M4A1 versions, about 1,200 in total. The chassis was shared with the M2 and M3 half-track family, easing parts supply. The M4 served with American units in Europe and other theatres.
