Hobby 2000 48042 is a special edition of the Hawker Typhoon Mk. IB “Car Door” representing the aircraft as used in 1942 during its early operational service with the Royal Air Force. In 1:48 scale, the model accurately reproduces the distinctive early Typhoon configuration with side-opening cockpit doors.

Assembly:

Assembly requires removing parts from sprues, cleaning and carefully fitting them before gluing. Special attention should be paid to the cockpit area and the characteristic side-opening doors. The included masks make canopy painting easier and more precise. After construction, the model should be painted according to the selected 1942 marking option.
