About the M62 locomotive:

The M62 series locomotives are heavy diesel freight locomotives originally built in the Soviet Union and widely exported across Eastern Europe. In 1972, GySEV acquired six standard-gauge units designated as the M62.9 subclass. Based in Sopron, these locomotives were primarily used for freight operations. Known for their robust construction and strong tractive effort, they proved reliable in demanding service conditions. The units remained in operation until the 1990s, when they were gradually withdrawn.
