Eduard XT195 is a set of self-adhesive 1:35 masks to make painting the model easier, tailored to the BTR-50PK APC model from Trumpeter. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The kit is not included.

Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

The BTR-50 is a Soviet tracked armoured personnel carrier developed from the chassis of the amphibious PT-76 reconnaissance tank. The vehicle is amphibious - two water jets provide propulsion in water, and the low, hull-shaped body gives good buoyancy. The troop compartment holds a full infantry squad, which can be carried across water obstacles without preparation.

The BTR-50PK variant received an enclosed, armoured troop compartment with a full roof and an NBC protection system, improving protection for the soldiers. Earlier versions had an open troop compartment. BTR-50 carriers were widely exported and used by the armies of the Warsaw Pact and many other countries, including in command and evacuation roles.
