Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

The Merkava is an Israeli main battle tank with a distinctive layout that places the engine at the front of the hull, increasing crew protection and allowing a rear door for evacuation or carrying extra equipment. The Mk.III variant introduced a 120 mm smoothbore gun, modular armour and a more powerful engine. The turret and hull have distinctive sharply sloped surfaces that improve armour effectiveness.

The Merkava Mk.IIID, or Dor Dalet ("fourth generation"), was the final development of the Mk.III series. It received improved modular armour and components later tested in the Merkava Mk.IV. The modular armour construction eased replacement of damaged segments and upgrades. Tanks of this type formed the backbone of Israel's armoured forces and were used in numerous Middle East operations.
