Limited-edition set: Chinese Type 100 support vehicle + ZRZ-100 (UCGV) + combat robots in 1:35 scale

Takom 2224X is a limited edition combining three modern Chinese combat systems in one box: the Type 100 tracked support vehicle, the ZRZ-100 unmanned combat ground vehicle (UCGV) and a group of quadruped combat robots, popularly called "robot wolves", together with rifles to arm them. All these subjects were shown publicly during the military parade in Beijing in September 2025.

The set makes it possible to recreate a modern grouping combining a crewed vehicle, an unmanned system and combat robots – a picture of a digitally integrated battlefield. The Type 100 vehicle has a rotating unmanned turret and photo-etched parts. Some of the technical data of the vehicles reproduced remains classified, so the description focuses on confirmed features.

Assembly:

The set includes several separate subjects, which lets you split the build into stages and plan a coherent scene. The Type 100 vehicle combines plastic sprues with photo-etched parts, best attached with cyanoacrylate glue. The small combat robots call for precise tweezers and careful removal of parts from the sprues.

For painting the whole set, contemporary Chinese ground-forces schemes are recommended, including digital camouflage; the robots and unmanned system can be finished in matching colours. The detail is worth emphasising with a wash. Painting and marking suggestions are given in the manufacturer's instructions.

All the systems reproduced in the set debuted publicly during the military parade in Beijing on 3 September 2025 and represent a new generation of Chinese weaponry. The Type 100 tracked support vehicle with its unmanned turret acts as a heavily digitised escort platform working with the Type 100 main battle tank.

The ZRZ-100 unmanned combat ground vehicle (UCGV) and the quadruped combat robots are part of the development of AI-supported operations – machines able to work with crewed vehicles in reconnaissance and combat.
