The Trumpeter 05853 kit represents the Mi-8MTV-5, an upgraded variant of the world-famous Mi-8/17 helicopter series. Designed for both transport and combat support missions, the MTV-5 is used extensively by the Russian Armed Forces and various operators worldwide. It features improved avionics, more powerful engines and enhanced defensive systems.
