Trumpeter 02427 represents the P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback in the impressive 1:24 scale. This powerful American fighter was one of the heaviest and best-armed aircraft of its class during World War II. The large scale allows for an eye-catching display of structural details and the distinctive high rear fuselage profile behind the cockpit.

About the P-47D Thunderbolt:

The P-47 Thunderbolt was an American fighter developed by Republic Aviation. It was characterized by its large size, powerful radial engine, and extremely robust construction, which provided high resistance to battle damage. The Razorback version featured the distinctive high rear fuselage spine. Thunderbolts were used both as escort fighters and ground-attack aircraft, particularly in European operations between 1943 and 1945.
