About class 754 locomotives:

The class 754 locomotives were developed from the earlier T 478.3 design by ČKD in Prague. They were equipped with a more powerful engine and electric train heating, increasing their operational versatility.

After the breakup of Czechoslovakia, part of the fleet was assigned to Slovak Railways, where many units remain in service today. Their distinctive design earned them the nickname “goggles”.
