Special Hobby 72489 – 1:72 CASA C-212-300/400 “Long Nosed Casas”
This 1:72 scale kit from Special Hobby represents the CASA C-212-300 and -400 light transport aircraft in their extended nose configurations. These variants have served in numerous roles worldwide including air transport, parachute drops, search and rescue, and maritime patrol.

Model building process:
This kit is aimed at modellers with some experience. It allows the construction of one of the modernized CASA C-212 variants with extended nose and optional mission equipment for different roles including patrol, utility transport or airborne operations.

About the CASA C-212:
The CASA C-212 Aviocar is a light twin-turboprop transport aircraft developed by the Spanish company Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA in the 1970s. The -300 and -400 variants feature a lengthened nose, modern avionics, and reinforced structure. Known for excellent STOL capabilities, they operate from rough fields and are used for troop transport, search and rescue, maritime patrol, and cargo missions in various air forces worldwide.
