Plastic model kit of the Basler BT-67 Polar aircraft
The A&A Models 7247 kit represents the Basler BT-67 Polar, a heavily modernized version of the legendary DC-3 Dakota. Converted by Basler Turbo Conversions, the BT-67 features turboprop engines, reinforced structure and updated avionics. The Polar variant is used for scientific and transport missions in Arctic and Antarctic regions.
The kit includes:
- plastic sprues with detailed parts
- decals for Polar markings
- clear assembly instructions

Note: Glue, paints and tools are not included. The kit is intended for self-assembly.
Building process:
Due to its size and number of parts, the kit is recommended for modelers with some previous experience in aircraft model building.

- Paintbrushes or airbrush
- Plastic cement
- Paints for Polar schemes and operator markings
- Cyanoacrylate glue for optional parts
About the Basler BT-67 Polar:
The Basler BT-67 is a deep modernization of the Douglas DC-3, introduced in the 1990s by Basler Turbo Conversions. Equipped with Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboprop engines, reinforced airframe and upgraded avionics, it serves in transport and research roles. The Polar version operates in extreme conditions of the Arctic and Antarctic, supporting scientific missions, cargo transport and passenger flights.
