Vallejo Model Air – range overview
The Model Air range is a comprehensive selection of acrylic paints developed specifically for airbrushing. It includes a wide variety of military colors used from World War I, through World War II, up to modern times. Each color is based on detailed research of real-life references to provide the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air paints can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with dedicated products such as Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to apply them in several thin layers over a primed surface. The paints dry quickly and form a durable, uniform finish while preserving fine details.
Application and usage
The paint is optimized for airbrush use, with a recommended working pressure of approximately 15–20 PSI. It can also be applied with a brush, especially for detail work. The dropper bottle allows precise dosing, prevents drying in the container and ensures long-term usability.
