Eduard XT183 is a set of self-adhesive 1:35 masks to make painting the model easier, tailored to the Sd.Kfz.10/5 Armoured cab model from Dragon. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The kit is not included.

Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

About the vehicle – Sd.Kfz.10/5 (German light half-track with 20 mm AA gun):

The Sd.Kfz.10/5 was the anti-aircraft variant of the German light half-track tractor Sd.Kfz.10 of the 1-tonne class, built mainly by Demag. A single 2 cm FlaK 38 automatic anti-aircraft gun was mounted on the cargo bed, giving the crew mobile short-range air defence. The light and agile design combined a front wheeled axle with a short tracked running gear, providing good mobility at low weight.

The vehicle accompanied motorised and armoured units, covering them against ground-attack aircraft and engaging lightly armoured ground targets. With the folding platform sides lowered, the gun could fire over the full arc. Thanks to the simplicity and availability of the base tractor, the Sd.Kfz.10/5 was one of the more common light self-propelled anti-aircraft mounts of the Wehrmacht, used on all fronts until the end of the war.
