Eduard XT198 mask set – painting masks for the V3000S model (ICM) in 1:35 scale

Eduard XT198 is a set of self-adhesive 1:35 masks to make painting the model easier, tailored to the V3000S model from ICM. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The kit is not included.

Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

About the vehicle – Ford V3000S - German 3-tonne truck:

The Ford V3000S was a German 3-tonne truck, produced at the Ford plant in Cologne under occupation management from 1941. It was powered by a 3.9-litre V8 petrol engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox, in a rear-axle drive (4x2) layout. The letter "S" in the designation indicates the road version (Straße) with a standard rear-drive chassis.

About 25,000 of these trucks were built through 1945. V3000S vehicles were used in many roles across all German armed forces and on every front - as transport trucks, workshop vehicles, tankers and chassis for special bodies. Some chassis were rebuilt into Maultier half-track vehicles (Sd.Kfz.3), improving cross-country ability in mud and snow on the Eastern Front.
